Be it ever so humble...
... there's no place like home.
Got back home late last night and it felt wonderful to be sleeping in my own bed and using my own bathroom. Something about staying with other people in their homes just makes me feel uneasy... I guess partly because I feel like I am imposing my presence on them.
Plus during those times when you would like a little something extra (e.g., regular use of their internet connection), you end up biting your tongue and not asking for it... because you've imposed enough already as it is just by "squatting" temporarily in their home.
But, the main goal of the trip was accomplished, and if only for that, I would say it was a success. :D
