Serene at last
It's been exactly 99 days since I learned that the movie Serenity has started airing in the US, and exactly 45 days since I saw on Amazon that the DVD is scheduled for release on Dec 20, 2005.
Tonight, my fellow Browncoats and I got together to enjoy a DVD screening of the movie... complete with all the necessary junk food that makes movie viewing more enjoyable. hehe!
Like most Firefly fans, I loved it!
And like most fans, I want more!!
Great special effects, great story, great girl-power sequences, great characters exchanging great repartees... and finally, we now have a much better sense of just where Firefly was headed before the Fox Network executives pulled the plug on this baby.
There's just enough there to hint at a possible sequel, but I guess only time will tell if it comes to pass. One thing's for sure, if Joss Whedon decides to tell more of the story, this Browncoat will be enlisting!
