The big giveway
A very rich person should leave his kids enough to do anything but not enough to do nothing.Now, 20 years later, the second richest man in the world puts his money where his mouth is... by donating 85% of his fortune (amounting to roughly US$ 37.4 billion) to five charities.

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, currently the largest foundation in the world, will receive US$ 31 billion of that donated amount. The remaining US$ 6.4 billion will go to foundations that are run by his three children, and another foundation named in honor of his deceased wife.
The numbers are utterly mind-boggling.
